Uphold Environmental Conservation and Improve the Well-being of Communities

We are known for supporting different communities to build strong and eco-friendly structures to guarantee safety for people. The houses are built using tested materials like eco bricks, iron bars, cement, sand, and aggregates. The walls are 23cm thicker and reinforced with iron bars and concrete. The house can take a duration of 400+ years on average. We look forward to supporting communities’ worldwide to build cost-effective residential houses.

South Africa Johannesburg Project

Pendeza Shelters successfully facilitated a comprehensive youth training on waste management and plastic upcycling, organized under the uDoti Initiative and hosted by the African Rural Wealth Creators Organization (ARWCO). The program focused on empowering youth with the skills to build safe, affordable, and eco-friendly homes using innovative materials such as soil-filled plastic bottles and repurposed car tires for roofing.
A total of 25 youth participants were trained in the process of converting plastic bottles into durable eco-bricks, a sustainable building solution. Additionally, five individuals received specialized training in construction techniques, further enhancing their skill sets. The initiative took place in Nongoma Town, Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, strategically located between Durban and Ulundi, South Africa.

This project not only promotes environmental sustainability but also provides valuable employment and self-sufficiency opportunities for young people in the region. Through this impactful training, Pendeza Shelters is contributing to both community development and waste reduction.
